Hopefully I will get back into drawing soon! I've had a bit of a block recently, and have consequently only been uploading some really rough sketches to my tumblr. I'm starting some work for this next week, and going to me doing commissions in may.

In loving memory

My lovely pet rat passed away yesterday. She was the sweetest, and I'm going to miss her.

Her sister (our other rat) is scared, but doing well. Hopefully we will have her for years to come.

So that pretty much sums up my past two nights. I am currently catching up on emails, freelance and e-chores, so I apologize, but I probably won't have any new art up for a little bit.

First off, today Shen is the birthday girl!

I'm not gonna lie, I don't know if you like Belle, but I thought this would be cute (spoiler alert - I was right!) and it matches that Pez dispenser soooo...

And Michelle! The owner of the lovely Homegrown Boutique in Toronto. Happy belated birthday! Also, if you've never tried handing out fliers in Toronto.... don't. It's probably best that way.

Home is where the heart is

Well, Shen posted a picture earlier this week of all of us new roomies just sitting and hanging out and I wanted to do something the same.

I could not be happier to have moved to a new place and start a new job with these girls. Once again Nicole and I are sharing a house, and it's been delightful to add a new roomie into the mix. :D

Happy Dad's Day

My dad taught me a lot - from figuring out the "creative" way to do things, to learning that it's best to take your time and do things right the first time... and taking your time and doing it right the second time if it doesn't work out.

Happy Father's Day to everyone - especially all the dads out there!

Also, before you ask, yes. That get-up is something my parents actually dressed me in. Actually, I simplified it. The real outfit had waaaay more Mickey Mouses on it.
