Dog Rider

Did this little sketch at work today and decided to finish it!

(**Bonus** There's a Milo butt in there too.)

It's going up on the store soon! Keep an eye out.

Summertime Fun - Final

Woo! I had so much fun with this that I might just have to try another.

Mother's Day

Sketching

Lately I've been trying to get back into sketching - not to mention trying to practice with my new tablet! It's definitely different than the wacom, but just something to get used to.

Not sure if this is a WIP or a sketch, but I'm trying this new thing where I draw backgrounds. Crazy right?

Anyway, here's something quick. I've been doing lots of drawing this week but nothing I can show just yet. :/

Dog

I don't usually draw animals.... but when I do they're pretty cute.

Sleepy

I'm really looking forward to exploring this character a little bit more...

Fairy

Pirates Part Two

Over the break I'm going to try and get (at least some of) these coloured :D

Pirates!

Ahoy!

I have a few more images, but I need to composite them and tonight is not the night. Our final life drawing class was this week. I'm really going to miss it. I feel like I started to go somewhere this year - so I guess I'll actually have to stick at it.

Karen Gillan

I'm not normally much of a fangirl. That said, today's lady is the leading lady of Doctor Who.

Drawn from this picture.

Tiger

I wanted to do a woman of the wild today after cultural anthro. So here she is from concept...

...To completion...

So that was fun.

Tuxedos

"Why is it that women feel awesome in men's clothing, but men feel foolish in women's clothing?"

Something I overheard in the studio today.

Girl(s) a day #3!

Pirate

Girl a day #1. Let's see how long I can keep this up.

Inspired by Jeremy's sketch-a-day, and Nicole's film.

Pillow Talk Colours

Here goes nothing!

A shot/colour/comp test for my film. He is a little big for the bed, and his head is a little big for his body, but I'll get the hang of it soon.

Thesis Film

Not much time left to think about summer.

Behold: The first image of the rest of my year.

Cheers

Characters from Life

Assignment for life drawing: make a character out of one of the costumes...

I kind of like how these turned out. Definitely the first time I've done something like this. Painted on Photoshop with a cool pastel brush.

Let Them Eat Cake

What started out as a throwaway project is quickly becoming something I might work on next year...

Here is some initial concept for my 'film' Let Them Eat Cake. Starring Edith, an old woman who must overcome her physical disabilities to get a piece of sweet, sweet cake.

Clearly the knitting/walking pose has nothing to do with the film. It's just cute.

And an obligatory sexy lady. She's the attendant at the nursing home!

A really rough Edith, attempting to grab her walker after it's been knocked over. Hilarity ensues.

Those first two were cleaned by my wonderful roomie Nicole Dubeta.

Enjoy!
