The above is just one of Brandon James Scott's many (extremely short) stories. I've been having tons of fun imagining the little forest scenes, and had this one stuck in my head since it was posted. Check out some of the other 140 character (or less) tales over on his twitter!

Hey guys, I'm doing a bit more of an involved piece and doing some freelance, so it's taking a little longer than usual for me to come up with a picture for the blog. So I present to you with a WIP of this little painting. I'm having a ton of fun!

Thanks for suggesting I take another stab at painting Ian... it really has been a long time, and I needed a little push.

Characters from Life

Assignment for life drawing: make a character out of one of the costumes...

I kind of like how these turned out. Definitely the first time I've done something like this. Painted on Photoshop with a cool pastel brush.

Chiu Stream Fail

It didn't get submitted until too late... But I liked it. A redesign of Scrat from Ice Age. Not too far from the original though.

Chiu Stream

I've been participating in Bobby Chiu's "Chiu Stream" for a few nights so far over at Schoolism.com. I'll be there again tonight. Here are the paintings I've done so far, at an hour a piece. The first is an insect rabbit, and the second is something cute and cuddly. If I do any updates in the next little while... it will probably just be these paintings. Schoolwork is definitely taking over.

It printed so badly. I'm just glad the digital copy still looks nice. A character in a setting. I included the version without the character, because I think it looks way better.

A painting I did of someone's character on a forum. Accidentally painted on the background layer, which was white, so unfortunately, there will be no bg >_<;;; I suck.
